Its obverse side features the profile of George Washington with the word "Liberty" inscribed above the head, the date below, and "In God We Trust" in the left field, and the reverse features a bald eagle with spread wings perched on a bundle of arrows with two olive branches underneath. The word above the eagle is "United States of America and below is "Quarter Dollar."
